We have an excellent opportunity for a Water Operations Team Leader who will report to the Treasure Lake Division Field Supervisor. This position is part of our Treasure Lake Division and will have secondary reporting locations in the DuBois, Clearfield County area. This position will
be responsible for the assigned water and wastewater facilities' operation, maintenance, staffing, safety, budgeting, business, and employee performance. Water facilities include well stations, water treatment plants and equipment, water mains, valves, fire hydrants, service lines, meters, and any other present or future water system and distribution system assets owned and/or operated by Aqua Pennsylvania serving communities in the assigned division. Wastewater facilities include wastewater plants and equipment as well as collection system components, including lift stations, manholes, and equalization basins owned and/or operated by Aqua Pennsylvania in the communities that the Treasure Lake division serves.

The Borough of Pleasant Hills is located in Allegheny County PA. The WWTP is a 5.0 MGD Activated Sludge Facility with two remote Pump Stations. We are responsible for treating wastewater from six different Municipalities.
Candidates must possess and maintain:
· Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License.
· High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
Candidates must either possess or be able to obtain the following certification within 4 years:
· Class A, E Subclass 1, 4
Candidates must be able to perform the following job duties:
· Perform routine plant operations and maintenance.
· Communicate with staff and management of plant performance.
· Complete daily reports and log plant data.
· Perform testing procedures necessary to monitor plant performance.
· Must be able to work well with others and work independently at times.
· Must be able to work weekends and holidays (4hr shifts / average 12 weekends / yr)
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
· Must possess initiative, judgment, dependability and cooperation in performing work assignments.
· Ability to operate tools and equipment used in wastewater plant maintenance.
· Perform cleaning and hosing of tanks and plant equipment.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
· Starting wage is $34.46 per/hr for certified applicants and $22.40 per/hr for uncertified applicants.
Base Pay Rate varies from $22.40 or $34.46 depending upon certification status. Pre-employment Drug/Alcohol testing and background check is required. The Western Westmoreland Municipal Authority will be accepting applications and resumes for a Maintenance Position at their wastewater treatment plant located at 12441 Route 993, North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, 15642. The Maintenance position is responsible for various work associated with the wastewater treatment plant and interceptor system. The applicant must be able to perform routine, preventative and emergency maintenance on all plant equipment including pumps, motors, air blowers, valves, piping and force mains, sewer lines and interceptors, including manholes, buildings and structures, HVAC systems, and electrical and control systems. The applicant will also be responsible for general housekeeping duties, janitorial duties, and grounds and maintenance duties.
